I tried rubber bands, various velcro tapes, plastic pullers, and other crap to wind the cables, but nothing worked. Rubber bands crack, salary pullers are impractical, ugly and uncomfortable, velcro stops sticking over time, those with a thin tail that wraps around the cable and are supposed to hold it don' t hold very well, and if they do, then the tape itself tangles when winding and also they stick to each other and catch messes. This doesn' t tangle anywhere, it doesn' t crack, it' s pleasant and surprisingly it works. I have yet to find a better way to wind up the cables you use regularly than this.
