If you don't publish this review, as you sometimes do!, you are just plain bastards who are ONLY after money and not truthful reporting. Sorry to be SO harsh, but it IS true. If you publish it you have my permission to delete this introduction.
HEVC codec.
High quality image, 4K capability.
The remote control is awkward to operate, the Play, Pause buttons are too low to wiggle your thumb. All the buttons are annoyingly small, they wobble.
I don't understand why such a renowned company doesn't allow on its players somewhere in the menu a function for "safe disconnection of USB disk" like Sony players have. To turn off the USB drive I have to turn off the whole player. That's amazing!
The displayed list of video titles on the USB drive is not in the correct Czech order. Names with accents are last. Quite annoying if I have in my folder e.g. 1000 items. And it's not a detail! So far no players can do it, scary that no one in such a big company has "caught on" yet. Of course, the national sorting would have to be implemented somewhere in the menu (which is not the case now).

Fortunately for me, I only bought it to play DVDs, I play other videos and movies on TV from ext. hdd that will play everything. For those who want to play older videos via USB or burned to DVD/CD I advise not to buy.

From ext. hdd doesn't display all items, probably it's limited by the number even though it's not specified anywhere, so it only displays something
