4 out of 5 stars is due to the slightly inadequate description of Alza. The pen itself is 5 out of 5. For such specific things, I would have expected Alza to be a bit more accurate in describing the range as I wrote it in the review, but it was probably my fault too for not going to a professional shop to get advice, try out a few models and then take home a suitable piece. I made my choice and thus ran out of time myself: ) Fortunately, it's not a disaster for me and I'll keep it for a while, try other color refills and then we'll see.
Very high quality workmanship, luxurious appearance
Writes immediately, even when the pen has been lying loose on the table for a long time
It has a bit of weight, it feels familiar in the hand, which I consider a plus
No need for gift wrapping, the packaging alone is already sufficient as a gift
Alza failed to mention (and I also failed to mention when choosing) that there is a whole set of tips from EF, F, M, B, BB to OB, OBB and more. The 0.7mm thickness is just one of the markings, there is no mention of the tip itself and there are two types available for this model (F and M).
The blue is pretty much a weak colour and when writing faster it is quite light, which needs to be compensated either by slower writing or higher pressure on the pen, or a combination of both. I'll try another black, where a lighter line color might not be a problem. Throughput, resp. the colour flow could be a bit higher for my taste
