The battery has a poorly routed connector and needs to be hooked up by preinstalling under the battery, which will create unwanted pressure on the screen when assembled.

Instructions for charging a new battery only. The instructions for the swap search on the web are well documented. I don't think everyone can do the replacement themselves, but someone skilled can certainly be found.
