You can punch pages in 6 sheets, but it's better in 4 sheets. And it's important to know that the machine is not at max. 8 mm wire weave, but only on 8 mm wire weave. The bottom door on the scrap catcher holes doesn't fit properly, so you sometimes get small papers spilling everywhere.

Combined with the front transparent foil and the back boards, you can make a really nice book

it should just say no: "for wire backs up to 8mm", but: "for 8mm wire backs only". The smaller 6mm backs cannot be tightened completely!

It's working as it should.
It cannot clamp small metal backs of 6 mm in height so that the wires connect. So you have to use bigger backs.
