Inefficient juicing, high waste, waste of raw materials. Another screw juicer (SENCOR SSJ 4041BK) at a third of the price has a much higher yield (even double for root vegetables).

When making apple juice, it is advisable to cut the apples into quarters and remove the auger and strainer and rinse the strainer after every 5 litres or so, but this is not a big problem

Easier to clean than centrifugal juicers - the auger is ceramic, just rinse it as well as other parts that come into contact with the fruit/vegetables
Quiet running
The juice produced also contains small pieces of the fruit or vegetable just juiced, so it is thicker (richer) than juice from centrifugal juicers (for some this may be a negative feature)
Large inlet opening, although it is fitted with a hinged lid for safety reasons

Sometimes we "struggle" with carrots or celery, which the snail has a problem with scooping up (the vegetable just flops from side to side - you have to use a plunger and push the carrot at the right moment) - I guess it's just a matter of habit and griffon
