We purchased a Petoneer for a smaller breed puppy to encourage loneliness. The puppy learned the dispenser right away and is not afraid of it. She always runs to him happily when he beeps and pours the pellets. It helped him cope with the loneliness. He is calmer now that he knows his "buddy" will feed him. At first it tried to get into the dispenser, but the tray is closed enough. The cable blew away on the first day, but the Petoneer also works on Type C batteries, which are adequately secured under the screw cover. With a capacity of 3000 mAh, it lasts about a week. Contrary to the information in the manual, it also works on rechargeable batteries. We use it in combination with the Tapo IP camera. I find this combination to be more convenient and more useful than buying the Petoneer version with a camera.

One dose is only indicative - 5 grams each. It depends on the size of the granules. Occasionally, it's a little more or less.

I needed a dispenser for our cat so I wouldn't have to worry about running out of food. This is absolutely brilliant. I can remotely send a command for an extra feed from anywhere. Not to mention setting up doses for certain hours. For me, the ideal helper.
