I have been using these filters for a long time. Teas are much tastier from this water. Water, as a straight drink, is good, not too hard. The kettle does not need to be descaled as often.

We have a kettle in our office that uses these filters. The water tastes good, but I'm very doubtful about the filter life - the kettle requires a filter change in about 2-3 weeks and I'm sure it won't leak the announced amount during that time. So my assessment is that it's neither very cheap nor very green.
