Any number of lights can be paired to each button, even from different rooms, as is the case with the Hue Dimmer Switch. Four buttons = four groups of lights, the fifth can be set on a rotating ring. However, we prefer to use it to change the brightness of active lights. Each plate is programmable for short and long press. You have to remember what's on what button. Sometimes it's like a fairground at home, but on the fourth try we hit it. In the bedroom, we have the whole household set on one button, except for the bedroom light, so we can turn off the whole apartment beautifully at bedtime.

It is a pity that there is no possibility to dim only some lamps in the room, i.e. to dynamically change which lamps are currently controlled by the rotation of the circle, e.g. by pressing or holding one of the buttons.

It seems to me that the negative reviews are from some unfair competition, because the installation is like for a baby and the driver works absolutely great. In addition, it is a quality plastic that will not crack if you fall. The wheel works flawlessly. The switch has 4 buttons so you can control 4 objects, zones, rooms, lights. Just as you like, there are many settings. I have several years of experience with smart solutions and Philips has always been a safe bet. The lights have enough power, the combination is many and their LED strips literally "bast" because it will beautifully illuminate everything you like. Especially in the garden.

steaming hell - it constantly reports an error and you have to let it "live" for 24h to update and appear. If you plan to use it only in hue it works quite well, but if you put it in homekit, it only knows the "single click" event - you just set the 4 buttons to function. but it can't, for example, press to turn on, and another press to turn off, just pressing it only starts the scene, turns on the accessories... dial in homekit doesn't work. hopefully they'll fix it in an update. this is really only suitable for hue.

Design
When controlling two lights and in the same scenarios it only controls one light from both channels, when switched off it behaves normally, it didn't do this before, hopefully an update will solve this. I have three drivers, and they all behave the same.
