Unfortunately, compared to the last Tefal steam station, this is a big disappointment. You cannot control the temperature of the iron or the amount of steam generated. While the last iron had a tray with pre-formed steam, this one produces steam after you press the trigger. I.e. there's a few seconds delay before the steam starts coming out of the iron. I might be okay with that. What's worse, though, is that the iron probably has nowhere to store the steam, so when you release the trigger, it takes another few seconds (up to 7! ) the steam comes out. There is a risk of burns. The iron has some kind of steam shock or turbo mode or whatever it is - if you press the trigger twice in quick succession, it generates steam rapidly for about five seconds. It can be triggered quite easily by mistake, you need to be careful. The iron is folded on top of the station, it can be locked by a mechanism so that when you take the iron by the handle, the iron and the station can be taken away. That's quite practical and a good idea. The downside to this is that the storage space is only slightly larger than the iron itself - if you're ironing and you put the iron on the station by memory, it's pretty common for it to slide off. Fortunately, I didn't have a single instance of it falling down, but it didn't give me much confidence in the Phillips engineers.

irones perfectly. It irones the withered linen like nothing. I was a little worried about how it would work after the experience with a normal iron from this manufacturer, which was heavy and hardly ironed. This is something completely different. Great satisfaction. The total size is just an ironing board, it' s not a monster.
