Cleans the air and humidifies reliably
It can humidify quite effectively (600 ml/h in the description is exaggerated, but compared to various ultrasonic ones it is noticeable and definitely helps if you have dry air in your apartment)
Control via buttons and the app on the phone (also outside the home, so you can turn it on before returning home and come to a comfortable environment)
It has a very quiet mode and is almost inaudible at lower speeds (great for keeping humidity down at night)
It has its own humidity and air pollution sensor (for PM 2.5 particles) and can automatically adjust the power according to the air condition, shows the values on the display and in the app, and matches the independent sensor in the room
Evaporative humidification is better than ultrasonic humidification, the minerals stay in the evaporator wheel, which needs to be cleaned regularly, but at least the humidifier does not send them into the air. We also have an ultrasonic humidifier at home, but we only use it as an aroma diffuser because it doesn't have filters for minerals, so we have to put distilled water in it. With tap water, our PM 2.5 particles skyrocket to horrible levels.
Control only via the Philips Air+ app, can't be added to the smart home (maybe HomeAssistant with some neo-fico plugin, but I haven't managed to get that working yet either)
The water tank is only around 3 litres, which sometimes lasts barely half a day and has to be refilled in the morning and evening (when it's a very dry day and the machine runs on high humidification power for most of the day)
If you have hard water and you need a lot of moisturizing, be prepared to descale the humidifying wheel every week (it means to load the wheel in water with citric acid or vinegar for 1-2h, for me citric acid is better, vinegar smells a lot)
More expensive filters, but even with the 24/7 usage we are currently running, they should last a little over half a year according to the app
