I replaced my previous Braun trimmer with the Philips. It still works, but the battery is only good for one shave, sometimes it pulls and most of the places have to be gone over several times. Longer beards still need to be "held". Comparatively speaking, it's like heaven and earth. Philips takes beautifully the first time, I don't even have to try hard. Trimming is very simple and precise. I'm really enjoying it now. Not to mention that shaving takes considerably less time. I haven't tried it on my hair and body.
