A bit disappointing compared to the Series X, but if you like Japanese games in particular and can only choose one console, you'll be happy. All my dissatisfaction comes from comparing it to the X Series.
Provides a beautiful image
The controller seems more robust than the Xbox and has better haptic feedback
Beautiful exclusive games (FF7 Remake, God of War, Ghost of Tushima, Gran Turismo)
Interesting design (although only in portrait)
Some PS4 games have PS5 upgrades, mostly for free (e.g. Resident Evil 2)
Noisy ventilation (Series X is completely silent in comparison)
It doesn't look so nice lying down and needs transparent feet
Controller sticks are too stiff for precise motion correction, especially in FPS
Few exclusive games
Games are much more expensive than on Xbox
Some older games look terrible when played on a 4K TV (e.g. Mirror's Edge Catalyst)
Interface much worse than PS4 and Xbox X Series
The store is quite cluttered, it took me a while to find where the demos actually are and moving around is annoying

It's quiet, fast, bigger drive than its predecessor. Hopefully there will be another colour of the covers in time, because white among black electronics really makes a difference. If you're hesitant, it's the perfect buy: )
