It works under linux (Jessie) without installing drivers.
Indication of LEDs on some input/output action is fine.
Probably the ideal thing for easy connection of midi device (in my case keyboard) with computer in price/performance ratio.
The IN and OUT cables are switched, I almost went to return the goods because of this.
The response seems a little weak to me.
