I was looking for quality speakers but didn't want a big subwoofer. These little speakers are great for PCs and don't take up a ton of space. The quality is comparable and maybe even better than 2.1. speakers. They are beautiful in appearance and in wood. You can fine-tune the pitch and depth on the main speaker.

I needed something smaller to replace the active 2.0 boxes with 8-inch speakers in my bedroom. I also have eight-inch active monitors as my main listening device at work, so I was a bit worried about the 3.5 drivers - unnecessarily so. The reviews didn't lie, for the money it's a blast. I don't miss the bass, but those who want to play very loud and very boomy can add a subwoofer for a few bucks.

After some bad experiences with other speakers, I ended up with these. The bass is actually less pronounced, but clean and precise mids and highs make up for it. Of course, it can be solved with an additional subwoofer, if you have, otherwise the investment will probably not pay off, buy more expensive loudspeakers right away. At a price of around 3,000, something better can probably no longer be achieved.

I rate 4 stars out of 5. because there is always room for improvement; ) I bought the boxes to listen to the radio / music at work. They are perfectly suitable for this purpose and I can only recommend. I' ve also read some negative reviews that hate these crates. Allegedly “surface sound“ etc. But I think this is again about the price-performance ratio. Of course, you can definitely buy better speakers, but for several times the price! Someone show me an alternative for similar money. I originally tried Trust Yuri 2.1 speakers with a subwoofer. But Repro Trust disappointed me a lot => I returned it because of the crazy whistling. The basses were better (because they had a subwoofer), but the whistling was not possible.
When you say CLEAR sound, Presonus Eris boxes define it very well (no unwanted sounds).
CLEAN SOUND (no whistling / buzzing and other unwanted). The boxes can be left quietly overnight
MUSIC plays in very good quality
BLUETOOTH and cable (I tested both cable and BLUETOOTH connections). both work flawlessly
The basses are not very strong. SUBWOOFER would probably suit that, but it' s rich enough for my relaxed listening to a PC
Anyway, the higher / lower tones are easy to send, so it makes a bit of an impression on the bass
REVIEWS really didn' t lie and I can only recommend
you will forget to turn off the boxes (maybe that' s why some other speakers make unwanted noises when the boxes are supposed to be silent); )
BASS (I don' t know if it' s a complete disadvantage, but if someone wants good bass, they' ll probably have to buy a SUBWOOFER)
