The stove needs some work at home, it's just DODO. ( Do it at home ). They didn't mess with it much in the Balkan production. The point is that due to the poorly centred cast iron grid, the gaps on the sides of the grid will be differently wide, which would have to be measured individually and the demarcation strips of fireclay on each side cut differently. The lazy Balinese couldn't be bothered, so they put the side fireclay slabs diagonally and put the remaining scraps from the decorative tiles that decorate the outside behind them. This gives the side fireclay lining nowhere to expand despite its small expansion ( about 0.5% ) and will probably be the cause of what I read in another review that it will explode inside when it cools.
The solution is simple. Unscrew the plastic handle from the ash catcher rod. The grille frame is held in the rear by two screws ( screws in the sheet metal, that's also a thing but probably doesn't affect the function ), remove the cast iron grille and frame, tilt it out and remove the side fireclay trim. Take out the scraps of tiles that were behind them and put the fireclay back in, this time perpendicular to the walls, put the cast iron grid back in, attach the screws, measure the gap between the grid and the fireclay, buy one fireclay board (under 100kč ), cut two strips with an angle grinder and lay out the gap.
Just DODO, but nothing complicated. I believe that this way the heated plate will also transfer heat to the jacket better.
