I use a shaving brush to apply this soap to my face: wet the brush, use the brush on this sisp then apply it to my face. It maes the face skin very slicky, so the razor glides very easily across the sking making a close shave. It does't create much foam, but it doesn't need to. After the shave I just use a towel to wipe my face of what is left and skin feels very soothed and soft. I have very sensitive skin and after this soap the feeling is very pleasant, no irritation.
