felt on the inside protects the paintwork
rubber along the edge holds the tarpaulin nicely to the car
the fabric seems to be quite durable. It is quite heavy and solid.
At least one tie-down strap under the vehicle.
Don't buy more than you need for your car. There is no way to tighten well on a smaller car.
the felt on the inside doesn't seem to be very durable and it gets dirty awfully easily. It is like a magnet for dirt, dry grass etc.
I don't yet know very well how I'm going to fold it up after use to store it in some sensible way.
It takes a day or two of dry weather for the tarp to dry properly before storage. It is water resistant, so water will dry out very slowly from creases and creases.
Could have more clamping straps
