Earplugs (caps) are either made of silicone or something similarly slippery, so they last in the ear for tens of seconds. I have tried all three of the attached sizes without success. If you hold them in your ear with your fingers you can make phone calls with them, but only in a quiet room because they sound weak. Maybe you could glue them on with leucoplasty, I haven't tried it yet.
