I went into this thinking that this was a makeshift frame, for my quality single mattress, with the understanding that I would soon buy a double frame and purchase a second mattress. Well, I expected to be done in an hour, but not 4 hours. Having your own tools such as a drill or a ratchet with a goal will make it much easier. Beware of tightening the screws when they fit into the metal counter-pieces, it is difficult in these places and you can easily pull the screw off even if you try to be careful and have the metal counter-piece oriented correctly.
Cheap - the only advantage
Four hours of assembling, and I'm skilled - these are solid puzzles. I expected the longest piece to be 2m, but no, it came in a metre box.
Need to own better tools to make your job easier and not drop your hands
Poor quality materials - the cheapest materials, soft wood and screws. I've stripped the threads off three screws so I'll probably never dismantle the bed again, and the wood is like paper, so I expect the joints to loosen over time
The manual in the box was crumpled and torn
The wood was very much from wood dust, which is not good for the respiratory tract. I had to wipe each piece piece by piece with a damp cloth first
The instructions could have been written a bit more humanly, it's confusing at times and I had to puzzle and search, involving logic.
The grid is made of solid wood = it does not have elastic slats, therefore it is only suitable for some types of mattresses, e.g. spring mattresses - this is not a disadvantage, just a warning
