I'm keeping it because it's still better than having to trim it by hand. But I wouldn't buy this again. The drawbacks I listed are pretty substantial, because 20 years ago I owned a pencil sharpener that could hold a pencil, could be attached to a table, and had a sump that you could only dump your trash at if you were a jerk. (like really nowadays people are not able to make a drawer with 4 walls around it: D )
The great thing is that the sharpener is electric; otherwise, it has more disadvantages, which are pretty stupid and fundamental for today
it's not heavy enough, so you have to hold the pencil sharpener to keep it from spinning all over
the pencil must be held firmly, as the pencil sharpener will not wedge the pencil itself; which other pencil sharpeners do, otherwise the pencil will roll around in your hand
the garbage chute is so stupid that it has no back wall and there are 2 holes in the bottom, so you have to take the chute out of the tilted forward sharpener to keep the garbage from spilling out
despite these drawbacks, it's pretty expensive; when you buy one, you'll find that you have nothing better than a motorcycle that turns a pencil sharpener (see. disadvantages above)
the cap for the larger ink is not needed at all, rather it is a disadvantage because it is on the ferrule and has to be held with the other hand to sharpen the larger pencil (other awkward parts would deserve such attention)
