The mouse, it works even without the adapter. For me, it is small, it is on the edge of what I am still willing to use. but I got used to it quickly and I'm not changing it.

I've been using the mouse for a week so far, so I can't judge the endurance, but with two AA batteries I'm not worried. Fits nicely in the hand. The side buttons (back/forward) are well placed but very sensitive.
At first I thought it was hard to ride on the wooden table, but then I noticed that there is a protective foil on the sliding surfaces: D
So far, complete satisfaction.
