I was looking for a GPS for bikepacking, as a safety feature in case of bike theft. Battery life is fine for 4 days of continuous all-day riding (140-150 km/day). Everywhere it says that the payment is 100, - /month and it is paid only for the months when the device was turned on, but in the app is set to pay for 3 months at once and you can not set less
I would welcome the option to choose no mode. Currently, you can choose between security, e-call or recording, which the device switches between. Since I don't need e-call or recording, I would welcome the option of something like sleep mode or so that battery consumption is minimal on long trips.

If you leave a bike outside a shop, you'd only find out when it was stolen. For REX, the delay is a maximum of 2 seconds. What bothers me is the lack of a button to turn on or some mode that would not record the route to save battery, to record today a person has a cell phone, watch and I do not know what all. It can be switched on from the off state only by connecting a power bank or charger, but there is not always a power socket at hand and finding a power bank that would be able to supply such a low current is a problem.
