I have had 2 of these devices pass through my hands.
First, Alza sent me a piece that had a scratched control panel and a non-functioning CD drive.
So I returned it and ordered the same type from another supplier.
I received a new piece that I used daily for 2,5 years.
I used all the features, and except for the little things I described in the negatives I was satisfied.
After this time the 'random shutdown' problems started until it finally went away completely.
The technician stated the need to replace the motherboard because replacing the capacitors did not help.
