I have its predecessor and I'm glad for it, because if I didn't have it, I would be a little annoyed that I don't have the silver tightening wheel with the screw that its predecessor had, because on this new model the wheel is larger in size, which leads to the problem of it grinding against the XLR cable connector a bit. It can be screwed on, but it's really extremely tight. Personally, I preferred to use the wheel from its predecessor, which can be screwed in nicely.
