Best kettle I've ever had. The reviews make me cautious when pouring, because when there is really a lot of boiling water, something can spill through the opening. But I haven't noticed a problem with steam or other hazards. I don't even consider the beeping when returning the kettle to the base to be a big drawback - you usually don't even notice it. The biggest advantage is the removable cap. Pouring the water is much more convenient for me, plus we have very hard water, so now I can just run a brush through the inside and easily remove the limescale residue. The cap itself can also be washed well. For me, great satisfaction - just a little care when pouring. If I ever replace the kettle, I will definitely get the same or similar. We've had her about six months.
