Practical button design for temperatures and corresponding colours
When you insist, the water doesn't flow sideways anywhere.
Impractical lid - contains perforations for water flow, but its orientation must be checked by eye. Does not contain a strainer. Sometimes it is annoying to remove the lid shortly after the water has boiled.
There is no mention of an audible alarm.
The base is quite light and on a stiff cable it occasionally slips off after lifting the kettle.

no strainer when pouring - it won't catch limescale (maybe I'm wrong and they have it figured out somehow)
the lid does not leak and since the lid has to be removed when pouring water, I don't know how long it will last
the kettle was leaking, so I returned it and got another
