Nice kettle, but it cooks terribly slowly. Maybe the heat is leaking around the lid, which is just laid down and leaking. I personally don't recommend it.

It really is all ceramic no plastic. Zadne odchute This kettle is top I have tried about 10 different kettles and they all had a plastic aftertaste after boiling water I could smell it even when drinking coffee.
