I take it that the product rather prevents the opening of the window from which the air conditioning hose is protruding, and to some extent the flow of warm air into the room. But of course there can be no question of any thermal insulation.
In the second year, the Velcro began to peel off

Too expensive for its price, as a product in general. The Velcro adhesive is so strong that when it was removed from the window frame, the paint was damaged. In the heat it started to melt and peel off and the residue I tried to remove ruined the surface. It can't be done mechanically, it can't be done with alcohol. I made a window frame out of boards and forex and should have done it right away. If I take it all in, it came out to a grand and a few hours of my time. Unlike the windows, which are not only anti-glare, but have undergone purgatory because of the preservationists. Don't buy this cover. When it starts to blow, it rustles and there's no way to turn it off, like a sail. Where the window and frame converge, you have no way to fix it and so the hot air will return.

Low rating for the fact that the adhesive just doesn't last - maybe the problem is that the window is in direct sunlight and it just doesn't last, but after a year the strips started to peel off and in a really horrible way - the ***** that is left on your window can only be removed with technical grade petrol - and even then be prepared for a few hours of removal fun.

Somehow it sticks in the window
It doesn't fit the window very well. Obcass drops it and then blows the warm air back into the room.
For the price, I'd expect something a little more sophisticated...
