Seems good for hiding some small valuables. The mounting housing seems robust. It would be hard to remove by force... However, it's a shame that the lock isn't more sturdy (it seems fairly basic, it could probably be picked by an expert), but for quick removal from the mounted housing the design is great. Can be mounted somewhere hidden and removed whenever you are in a hurry. Not particularly heavy too, you could possibly take it in hand luggage.
