After about a year of use, the "non-stick" grill plates are like glue. If, for example. I make chicken breasts, half of them tear - they stick to the plates so much, I've never seen anything this bad. It's terribly hard to wash now, you basically have to accept that it will never be clean again. Admittedly, this is a situation after quite heavy use, but then again, we have always been careful not to scratch the surface. I definitely don't recommend it, especially for the price.

The ceramic plates, smooth on one side and scalloped on the other, can be rotated and combined. You can buy waffle plates. Easy to clean. You can open it flat and grill on each plate with a different temperature. Solid design. I recommend it.
