Apart from negatives 2, 3, 4 and 5, the other things are rather trivial. But overall, I can recommend the joystick. Suitable for both realistic and space flight simulators. But also for Arma 3, although the setup is a bit tedious in that game. And although the game can recognise this joystick. So gas is not automatically charged, shooting and bombing from the plane is completely stupidly charged. I still want to try this joystick in old classics like F-22 Lighting 3, Comanche Gold and Comanche 4.
Enough buttons
Despite the negative that the buttons do not change colour when switched on and off so the vast majority of buttons can be set with different colours, I miss the blue. But there is a choice of Red, Green and Amber(some shade of yellow).
I use all the buttons for both DCS World and Arma 3, and I don't miss the extra buttons.
A secured button under the cap that can function to either drop (fuel tanks or armament). Or on the focus of the target. This button is the only one that changes colour, the locked one is green and the unlocked one is red, personally I would prefer it the other way around.
On the control lever there is a possibility to quickly change the setting mode via a round metal button on the side of the lever. It's useful when you have a setting for fighters on Mode 1 and a setting for helicopters on Mode 2, for example. The settings can then be changed and created in Logitech's software.
It is possible to set up 3 basic modes for setup. And then three more when you press the "Thumb" button, then you can add three more profiles in Logitech's program.
You can't tell from the picture how big the throttle is, but in reality you rest your whole palm on it, so your wrist doesn't hurt and all the buttons are within reach of your thumb and forefinger. Same on the control stick.
If you don't have big hands, there is an option on the control lever to mechanically loosen the height of the "Little Finger" button.
All it takes is one USB port.
Compared to the Thrustmaster T.16000M, this joystick is solid at first glance.

Not all lights can be changed to different colours, and there is no option to set a button to glow a different colour when you turn something on in the game and a different colour when you turn it off.
The display is difficult to program to display the necessary information from the game, external scripts are needed.
Suction cups do not stick to the wooden table, a smooth rubber wide pad is needed across the table.
I don't recommend turning with the control stick as it has a small angle for DCS World planes, I recommend adding pedals.
It is possible to mechanically adjust the stiffness of the throttle lever, but it is no longer possible to adjust the stiffness of the control lever.
What freezes is the oversensitive mouse on the throttle, it's the little hat next to the Clutch button. It may suit some people. But this is just my personal feeling, I don't like this button on this joystick: D

I bought this joystick sometime around 2004. Until 2009 I flew it at least once every week, some months almost every day, in my favorite IL-2 Sturmovik simulator. My friends and I would race through the sky and shoot down enemies, or even just fly long distances between Japan and Australia. unforgettable experiences! Today I discovered this joystick in the back of my desk after more than a decade of disuse. It was completely dusty and the once shiny materials were covered in an unidentifiable sticky substance. I have found that this is how this material reacts to the long-term presence of dust. I took WD-40, a Swedish cloth and soon there was no sign of the sticky substance. Like new again! And the fact that this joystick still has active support for Saitek after all these years just shows what a bargain it is, even if it may seem expensive to some.
Really cool joystick. Even after so many years, it is still as good as new!

Unfortunately I received a Joystick that had 2 defects, a non-functioning T5 button and a fading backlight on the buttons and display that start to flicker when turning one of the potentiometers below the display. I've returned the joystick for repair, so I'm waiting to see what happens. I recommend always checking in the control panels that all buttons and axes are working; )
