We bought the dryer as a replacement for the original washer-dryer inherited from my grandmother, which after 14 years of hard service, was honorably retired. Despite her age and a broken muffler, we only knew she was running when she was wringing. Like any large household, we wash and dry large amounts of laundry every day, but the noise the dryer makes is really awful. Before starting it up for the first time, I carefully went through the manual, leveled the dryer with a spirit level, checked to see if it had any locking screws like a washing machine, but it doesn't have any, and it doesn't have a drum calibration either. After filling it with a few pieces of wet laundry (about 4kg), the first start-up took place. But the noise of the dryer is terrible. The drum flies more than I find healthy and from the first second of starting any program it vibrates the whole floor and the whole run is always humming terribly. From a dryer over 10.000, -, especially from a brand like Samsung I expected much better service. The dryer can dry 9kg of laundry, but the noise it makes is unbearable. We will have to soundproof the floor under the dryer so that we can function at least relatively normally in our home again
