I've switched from the S20+ and thus I find it a leap down in design and most importantly, the main camera: / It's possible that some settings will catch up, but I compared the auto mode with other cheaper phones and they seemed better than Samsung's flagship. The S23+ has Snapdragon, which doesn't consume as much battery, but the phone is better powered by Exynos, a bit of a disappointment for me - even the accessories aren't as nice as the S20+ had

I'm switching after 4 years of using the S9+. I got used to it quickly, in many ways I find the new phone better.

I'm struggling a bit with the face unlock. Even though it recognizes the face relatively quickly, it only unlocks when swiped, the previous model unlocked automatically.
I'm a bit of a warrior when paying by mobile phone that I have to confirm with a fingerprint for some transactions even when the phone is unlocked. So I often fail to pay on the first try. This has never happened to me with the S9+.
I've lost some VPN functionality where older protocols are no longer supported, although they are still used, but that's a matter of the new Android systems, not the phone.
