We will appreciate if you also share your experiences with Samsung Galaxy Watch9 40mm LTE Beige after purchasing.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 LTE less than a month ago. In this review, I'll probably be comparing it a lot with the Garmin watch I had last. For me, one of the biggest positives of this watch is the ability to receive and make calls. The watch is clear and easy to navigate, and it has a lot of interesting functions. The health-monitoring ones include tracking blood pressure, sleep apnoea, etc. What's not so great is that every function needs its own app, installation and more – to make payments with the watch, you need to download the Samsung Wallet app, and I struggled a bit with installing it. Compared to a Garmin watch, it's absurdly complicated. The blood pressure monitoring app, in turn, requires calibration using another blood pressure monitor. However, this is probably necessary for it to work correctly. The next point in my review is the battery life. The watch lasts about 27–28 hours on a full charge. With my Garmin watch, I was used to charging it much less frequently. So this takes a bit of getting used to, but it's acceptable given the always-on display and all the functions. I would also like to praise the watch's display, which is beautifully readable even in bright sunlight. In any case, I haven't had the watch that long, so I haven't had time to familiarise myself with all its functions yet, but I'm looking forward to discovering them.
I upgraded to the Galaxy Watch9 from the previous Galaxy Watch4 model and the difference is really noticeable. What pleased me most is the battery life – I don't have to constantly charge the watch and can use it all day and night without any problems. The speed and smoothness of the entire system is also a huge step up. The controls are intuitive, responsive, and the watch reacts instantly.
I also like the many new and improved features for tracking activity, sleep, and health. The display is beautifully clear, and overall, the watch feels more modern and sophisticated. After upgrading from the Watch4, I see the Watch9 as a really significant generational leap. A great choice for me, and I definitely don't regret going for it.
I've upgraded from the series 6. The display is noticeably brighter and the sun isn't an issue. The system and animations are also much snappier. The watch is so light, I can barely feel it on my wrist. Paying with Google Pay works without any problems. The battery lasts a day to a day and a half. If I keep the AOD turned off, it can almost last for two days. However, with active GPS and LTE, expect to be reaching for the charger every evening.
The new generation is well done, although there are few changes compared to the previous one. I would welcome more new watch faces and a battery life of at least 2 days. But now, at least when I get home from work and want to go for a run, I don't have to put the watch on the charger first; it can still handle the workout. And that's with music playing on it too. For me, the running coach is great, and it suits me more than the one on Garmin watches. I just don't quite understand why my run doesn't count towards cardio in the fitness index and I don't get any points added for that day.
I bought this watch because my previous Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 broke – the battery died. I was used to a smaller, nicely rounded display, whereas this one is more angular and bigger, and I haven't got used to the change yet. The display, however, is beautifully bright; the colours and visibility in full sunlight are excellent. The battery lasts almost 2 days, though I don't use the Always On Display feature. The silicone strap on the watch is a big disappointment for me. It constantly comes loose from the two keepers. The previous series had a strap designed so that after fastening, it tucked under the strap and held perfectly. As a woman, I have a small wrist, and I fasten the strap on the 4th notch from the end. A man wouldn't be able to fasten this strap at all; there aren't enough holes in it for him.
I've only been trying out the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 for the first week, but so far I can say that it's brilliant. It fits beautifully even on a smaller wrist, it's lightweight, and I barely notice I'm wearing it. It has lots of useful functions, a beautifully clear display, and it runs smoothly without any lag at all. In full mode, it can last 1 to 1.5 days on a single charge. However, the battery charges very quickly. Overall, I'm happy with the watch.

the watch is very lightweight
fits perfectly on the hand

The battery lasts for one day, a day and a half at most
Overall I'm happy with the watch. I bought it as a replacement for an older model and it meets my expectations – the battery lasts longer and it has LTE, which is particularly handy now during the summer because I don't always carry my phone with me. The design is very nice and elegant.
The display is beautifully bright and easy to read even outdoors in the sun
The water resistance works without any problems – everything's fine so far while swimming in the sea.
The watch is light and comfortable, so it doesn't bother me even when wearing it overnight.
Very good for tracking sports activities, sleep and other health data.
LTE
Occasional problems with pairing and communicating with my phone. It has disconnected unexpectedly a couple of times, which caused me a problem when paying.
I've only tried making a call once so far, it works well, but I found the speaker quite quiet.
The new Watch9 is really well made. It sits perfectly on my wrist, looks elegant, and the display is a joy to look at. Thanks to the new processor, everything runs lightning fast, and the slightly larger battery is noticeable – although you'll still need the charger every few days. The health and sport features (like Energy Score or the running coach) work brilliantly, especially when paired with a Samsung phone.
I moved to this watch from the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. I'm absolutely delighted with it and don't regret buying it one bit. The new display is absolutely brilliant. The visibility in the sun is excellent. The battery life is also noticeably better, my watch lasts for 1.5 days on a single charge. I've just got the LTE version, so I'm looking forward to not having to carry my mobile phone with me (I still need to arrange an e-sim). I'm really looking forward to every new day the watch motivates me. I recommend this watch to everyone, it's honestly worth the money.
