We have had this fridge for 14 days and we are thrilled with it as a family. The fridge immediately caught my eye with its beautiful appearance and especially the volume for food. We often use the beverage center by the fridge, which works great and even our kids are able to fill up their water directly from the fridge. A great advantage is the large number of settings of the fridge function via apps e.g. sound of the fridge, automatic opening, consumption (not tested yet), lighting, time when ice should not be produced (at night), etc. Despite its large dimensions, the fridge fit in perfectly. The instructions do not state that the fridge is connected via a "half inch thread", the installation is absolutely simple and the length of the supplied pipe is about 3 m. We are very satisfied with this American refrigerator.
