This is our second American Samsung refrigerator. The first one lasted 23 years without failure. We wanted a product with the same parameters: water connection, ice maker - cubes and chips, access to drinks without opening the door. However, none of the Samsung products currently offer a beverage bar. In our final choice (another brand with a bar or this fridge without), we opted for this model. The first contact with the new product was rather embarrassing, which is understandable after more than 20 years of living with the previous refrigerator. Fixed shelves and compartments in the door, a completely different type of filter, which is also located outside the fridge but can be mounted on the wall behind the fridge, a smaller ice bin. It's just a habit. We arranged the food a little differently according to the height of the shelves. A filter outside the fridge means a little extra shelf space. The volume of the freezer is larger due to the different positioning of the icemaker, and the interior space of the fridge is larger for the same size of the whole fridge. The only thing missing are small things, which can be solved by buying accessories (organizers). I haven't used the wi-fi connection yet. So in summary, I am happy with my choice.
