My first Seagate drive in maybe 20 years, it will be used more for backing up data from other drives and downloading from the Internet, so hopefully it will last. So far, it has surprised me with its speed, to the point that I wonder how it would work, for example, in RAID 0 compared to WD.

So far a short-term experience, but the drive writes data at the proclaimed speed of about 220 MB/s and is really quiet, so great, I can recommend. 5 year warranty is great too.
