I was buying two NAS devices for home use. I was surprised that they are a bit noisy, although they have a low noise according to the specification. But this is common with disc drives. I got used to using SSDs.
However, it doesn't matter if you use them in a NAS device that is closed in a cabinet and set the mode of operation of the NAS, for example, to turn off at 10 p.m. and turn on at 6 a.m.
They run as they should, reliability
Solid state drives are noisier, SSDs will be quieter, consider what you need
