We have only tried it on herbs so far and the dryer works as it should. During the drying process, you just need to swap the sieves - the herbs at the bottom are dried first, the ones at the top take longer. Sencor also states this in the enclosed manual.
It doesn't have an adjustable temperature, but it doesn't matter.

I'm only drying apples so far, but they dry surprisingly fast. I expected it to be noisier, its operation was a pleasant surprise. It has a nice design. OK for me

drying is quite fast (compared to conventional drying), only apple crosses tested so far - less than 5 hours
quiet operation - does not disturb even e.g. watching TV in the living room next door
easy assembly, 2 adjustable heights according to the thickness of the slices are practical
nice design - combination of colours
after the first use there is a little aftertaste in the dried fruit (apples) from the plastic grates, but after the fruit cools down it is O. K.
the transparent plastic parts of the "superstructure" are quite subtle, I'm afraid that they won't last very long with frequent heating and will crack at the rib joints over time
