It heats up quite well after a long time
Unfortunately I only used it once, my son didn' t want to give it up so he tried again another time without success.
The point of the needle is thick and the end is rather round (not a tip), the whole center of the classic roll is pushed back and the roll tears on the side.
And it doesn' t matter if the roll is old or new, soft or dry.
It' s probably for baguettes.
It' s been lying on the cupboard for a year and I cut the young rolls on the side. Thanks sencore.

It reheats the sausages nicely
The roll pin is quite blunt. It is impossible to stick a classic rubbery roll, a fresh one is very difficult. Only special (thicker) rolls have proven themselves.
The thorn doesn' t heat up much. Before the roll is warmed up, the sausage is heated ten times. It takes a long time to make 4 hotdogs for the whole family.
