despite the same readiness signaling problem, it works
if someone wants to sell a product and there's a signaling problem, the manufacturer should make a change. I'm not going to change something that works otherwise, maybe the next one will be even worse. so I'm not dealing with it (yet)

I have only used it briefly so far, but I still have a few observations to make for this laminator review. It is really quite quickly heated up and ready to use. However, what I see as quite a noticeable minus is the warm-up/ready status indication. Based on the relatively nice, modern look, one would expect it to be an LED signal, but unfortunately this is not the case. There is a strip of heat-sensitive material that turns from black to red as the temperature increases, but unfortunately it is very difficult to distinguish these colours from each other. Overall, however, this is a very decent laminator with respect to price/performance.
