Bought for less than a grand, it's an OK buy in this price range. Purchased for baby's room for bedtime stories/songs. For this purpose it serves well, I can only criticise that it is not possible to turn off or dim the display backlight and in the dark it is disturbing. As the biggest minus I consider the tragic control, the radio has a total of 16 buttons, 11 of them on top - all of them are exactly the same and absolutely no chance after touch. Their order doesn't make much sense either. I would definitely choose something different for grandma or grandpa. The display came from the factory with scratches under the plastic cover. The brightness is pretty good, but the rest is not worth talking about, the viewing angles are non-existent, once you move away by more than a degree it is impossible to look at it. It's probably a really bad TN panel. The whole chassis is rubberized, in a few years it will definitely start to melt, it is also a magnet for finger smudges. The cover over the speaker sticks out and cannot be clicked into place. I'd probably pay extra for something more solid next time, but it's enough for a kid on a windowsill.
