The sound of these HD 620S is very dynamic and very lively. They very quickly replaced my original HD 600 Avantgarde. I certainly wouldn't rate them based solely on the frequency measurement graphs, which look wildly inferior to the HD 600 graphs. I perceive the tonality as balanced while reaching very deep into the sub-bass in the lows with appropriate emphasis (e.g. in kickers) and are more pronounced in the high frequencies - all compared to the HD 600. Their mids have more texture and don't feel as soft as the HD 600, so they are harder, but they feel very realistic and have great clarity. The problem of their extended pitches arises in music where the high frequencies are already accentuated, then they tend to hiss. But they never sound poisonous or distorted. They have great headroom for closed headphones - they don't sound in your head, their right headroom is the same as the HD 600 by my comparison, but the fore-aft headroom far surpasses the aforementioned HD 600s, which have very little. I would compare the sound of the 620S to the open models. I perceive the separation of instruments better with the HD 620S. Definitely not recommended for bassheads and lovers of heavy, dense sound (the Sennheiser HD 25 will do more good). In summary: The HD 600s are suitable for more relaxing listening, sounding more "sweet", the HD 620S are more engaging, drawing you into the music, making you bob your head and tap to the beat, all while maintaining the correct tonality of both. The 620s are no longer forgiving of mistakes in passing. You'll only enjoy music with the HD 620S when the seal is perfect. Thick glasses legs, thick beard, small head, where the ears reach below the jaw, see. disadvantages, all this causes degradation of the sound, when it then sounds bad and so called. cupped.
Light, solid, well set up, the plastic looks good as do the metal converter covers with a finish like some cameras.
Comfortable, spacious, soft memory foam and synthetic leather ear cups.
The head bridge doesn't have much clamping force - it's just right and has soft padding.
Cable length - not unnecessarily long or short.
Cable insulation - similar or the same as HD 600, thickness is OK, detachable with 6.3 mm screw reduction.
Possibility of connecting a symmetrical cable.
Head bridge reinforced with steel strap.
Vivid sound with excellent tonality. Deep bass, clean mids and great treble extension. The headroom is very decent for a closed headphone, feeling the sound more in front of you than to the sides as with the HD 600.
Easy to build - not amp intensive.
Tight, nice compact package that includes a pouch to store the headphones.
Swivel mechanism for attaching the shells to the head bridge - in extreme positions the edge of the metal band pushes into the plastic stops and tends to squeeze them. I don't know how long it will last.
Shooting shells could have more range - some heads might not fit properly, but it's enough for me.
In some tracks where the higher frequencies are already highlighted, the headphones tend to hiss - but it doesn't sound toxic or as difficult as with e.g. Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro.
The spaciousness of the earpieces is also their disadvantage. They reach down to the jaw and when moving the head sideways I sometimes lose the ideal seal and the sound is then without bass - in the normal position OK.
Demanding for proper sealing.

I would expect a little more from headphones priced at 8-9k than just a melting ball of sound. Even with my old ears, I don' t care if it has more or less treble, I can' t hear it anyway, but they play really quite poorly. Such labels that these are super newly designed headphones, where it was possible to achieve that despite the closed construction it plays almost like a class more expensive open, that' s really just marketing gibberish. They don' t play. Even the cheaper wireless Sennheiser 195 play a bit better (despite being only presented as some TV headphones) They went back to the baby box: ) It' s really worth it, either something for 2-3 thousand if you listen to some pop-rock from streaming services, or rather save for the HD800S, for example, if you want to hear some space in jazz or classical (after all, even rock sounds better on them)
total quality of processing
they don' t play much
