The coffee is excellent!
Unfortunately, the coffee machine has a design flaw in the drive mechanism for the brewing unit, which will sooner or later become apparent.
When the pinion of the drive mechanism eventually stays at a different angle than the groove of the mating unit, eventually the unit cannot be pulled out or put back in .

After less than two years of experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The design has clearly failed. After a couple of months of operation, the problem with the steaming unit started to manifest itself, which jams even when it is perfectly clean. When the device is switched on, it says "restart the device" over and over again. It can't even be removed from the device. By trial and error I found out how to cut it off - a little turn of the lower part of the unit, a little bit of flaking and that's it. Something will probably go back to where it belongs. How long it will last like this I don't know, but when it breaks it will go straight into the bin.

We brought the coffee maker, after the tenth request to fill it with water even though it had water we packed it again and returned it. The Siemens brand is no longer what it's cracked up to be, unfortunately. Next time I prefer JURA from China
