after a firmware update, it required pairing every time it was turned on. On recommendation reset to factory settings and delete on phone. It helped (the new FW remained) and it runs without error. It doesn't do well to change speeds quickly, because the value on the display is smoothed out by the software and it takes a while to get up to speed. It's right on the record.
overall rating: I do not regret the purchase and would buy again. the price/performance ratio is good

the chest belt is not detachable, it has to be pulled up or down.
