I chose it based on the performance/price ratio during the pre-Christmas promotions to replace my broken fryer from Lidl. I was expecting it to be bigger, but in real life it's not very bulky and I can't imagine putting 2 chickens in it at the same time and it ever baking. Compared to my previous fryer, it is about 60-70% quieter, so I don't know if it blows less, but it is nice. It works well for simpler baking such as sliced meat, potatoes, cheese or various semi-finished products.
