I bought it 7 months ago for my cottage, where it heats one room of 20m2 and within some -5C it heats up to 23C, which is fully sufficient. Now I tried it for the first time in the bitter cold when it was -16 degrees outside and at maximum power the temperature in the room was kept at 15 degrees, which is just on the edge. That 80 square meters is bullshit. Maybe if it's +10 degrees outside. I was surprised by the consumption, when at some half power (1000W, knob turned to 80%) the heater consumes about 1kWh per 24 hours, which at my price of 7.70, - per 1kWh is almost free heating and runs me defacto nonstop all winter. I have it through a smart plug and I turn it on/off through my phone. The heater is absolutely noiseless, I have it by the bed and I can't hear anything at night. It only clicks once in a while when the thermostat turns on. I don't understand why they made it 500, - more expensive. I bought it in May for 1999, - And they boldly write "SUPER PRICE".
