I did follow all the instructions, but it still leaves food residue on the cutlery. I can't reset the salt and polish values and I'm following the instructions. Either the manual is poorly written or it doesn't have these options

the same equipment as significantly more expensive dishwashers
I very much appreciate the automatic opening after washing
the material of the baskets looks a bit cheap (for example, AEG has them more solid)
I miss the option to save my favourite settings, or. at least remembering the last setting - so each switch-on means about nine button presses

Don't buy this dishwasher, it is problematic and Alza is unable to honour a claim. I have already complained twice that the dishwasher leaks and each time the complaint was rejected and the dishwasher returned in a deplorable condition. So I had to buy a new one. Never again!
