These fans are luxurious for refurbishing old retro graphics cards, where most of the time there was just a tiny roaring 40-60 mm fan, but the joke is that those graphics didn't need it at the then TDP of 20W and they put in those 10000 RPM horrors simply because the manufacturers didn't care that it would roar. This fan at those dimensions and speed is barely audible (don't be fooled by the number, so much speed is ok for such a small size), so just solder the original cable that had the fan on the old graphics and plug the fan into the graphics and done, no need to do anything else, you transfer the sticker from the original fan and no one will know it's not original. I mean, of course, you have to amputate the square part of the fan and use only the propeller with the motor, but everyone has figured that out..: -) The bad thing is that other sizes like 40, 60 and 70 mm can't be found anymore, I should have bought them for stock back then, but I understand that nowadays you don't use it much, so why would they sell it. Honestly I'm surprised they still have those 50mm fans, because apart from fixing some FX5900 and similar graphics I don't really see why anyone would need them.

there is no need to regulate the speed further, it is quiet normally at 12V and the power is enough for those old graphics

So far very quiet, which is often the primary consideration.
I had to re-drill to 4.0 mm because the screws didn't want to go in and were tearing out the material, which gives the impression of a somewhat more fragile recycled material. In the end, I used the supplied silicone washers and hung just the 2 screws diagonally.
